Geometry and Sizing

Low standover, long dropper posts, and proper component selection and setup allow us to fit more riders than ever. Select your SCW 1 frame size according to riding style rather than saddle height and reach.

The changing location of a rider’s centre of mass from one size to the next can create more of a performance discrepancy between sizes, for a given model, than between brands. Structure is the only company that adjusts the location of the shocks and pivots to keep all kinematic properties consistent between chassis sizes.

In the same way you might choose the length of your skis or snowboard to reflect your preferred terrain and riding style, our short seat tubes allow you to tailor your SCW 1 to your riding. We call this “Gravity Sizing”. Instead of sizing according to riders’ body sizes with Small, Medium, and Large, we give each chassis a Gravity rating (ex. G2) to denote the level of stability. Please refer to the geometry chart for full details and contact us for assistance with your selection.

Suggested sizing for playful handling with enhanced agility
G1: Rider height 165 cm - 180 cm / 5'5" - 5'11"
G2: Rider height 175 cm - 190 cm / 5'9" - 6'3"
G3: Rider height 185 cm - 197 cm / 6'1" - 6'5"

Suggested sizing for purposeful handling with enhanced stability
G1: Rider height 155 cm - 170 cm / 5'1" - 5'7"
G2: Rider height 165 cm - 180 cm / 5'5" - 5'11"
G3: Rider height 177 cm - 190 cm / 5'10" - 6'3"

(A) REACH 420 460 505
REACH EFFECTIVE, NORMALIZED FOR STACK
When comparing bikes, reach is only meaningful when examined at a constant stack. Effective Reach is the reach value normalized to a stack height that is the average of all current AM/Enduro frames
431 474 522
(B) STACK 634 641 649
(C) SEAT TUBE ANGLE @ HEAD TUBE TOP
"Effective seat tube angle" is typically measured level with the top of the head tube, not the rider's assumed seat height. Most seat tube angles become considerably slacker at true saddle height.

(D) SEAT TUBE ANGLE @ FULL PEDALING HEIGHT 76° 76° 76°
SEAT TUBE LENGTH 360 410 465
(E) HEAD TUBE ANGLE 66° 66° 66°
HEAD TUBE ANGLE @ FULL COMPRESSION, COMPARED TO TELESCOPING
Compared to a telescoping fork, the WTF linkage design becomes slacker when compressed. Exact value depends on the setting selected.

RAKE 44 44 44
(F) TRAIL 120 120 120
TRAIL @ FULL COMPRESSION, COMPARED TO TELESCOPING
Compared to a telescoping fork, the WTF linkage design increases trail when compressed. Exact value depends on the setting selected.

(I) CHAINSTAY LENGTH 435 435 435
(J) FRONT CENTRE 741 784 833
FRONT CENTRE @ FULL COMPRESSION, COMPARED TO TELESCOPING
Compared to a telescoping fork, the WTF linkage design maintains front centre length when compressed. Exact value depends on the setting selected.

(K) WHEELBASE 1171 1214 1263
WHEELBASE @ FULL COMPRESSION, COMPARED TO TELESCOPING
Compared to a telescoping fork, the WTF linkage design maintains wheelbase length when compressed. Exact value depends on the setting selected.
